Perched high above the Hudson, this New Jersey penthouse was envisioned by DbC Studio as a study in contrast and restraint, a space where urban sophistication meets sculptural comfort. The goal was to create a home that feels curated yet effortless, expressive yet serene.

The open-concept living area unfolds as a panoramic composition of form and light. Floor-to-ceiling glass floods the space with skyline reflections, while deep velvet furnishings and gold accents anchor the view in warmth and depth. The interplay of dark and reflective surfaces, from tufted seating to brass tables and lighting, defines the penthouse’s bold, metropolitan character.

In the primary suite, DbC Studio introduced a quiet sense of luxury through material balance and proportion. The custom four-poster bed in polished metal reflects the surrounding art and light, creating an immersive experience that blurs boundaries between architecture and decor.

Art selection played a key role in the project’s identity, large-scale monochromatic pieces punctuate the clean palette, bringing rhythm and movement to the white expanses. Every object, from furniture to artwork, was chosen for its ability to contribute to the penthouse’s compositional clarity.
